Parents receive weekly e-mail bulletins about our activities, field trips and special announcements.

They will be notified of their child’s development at Mine International Preschool through our bi-annual Personalised Academic Progress Reports and Developmental Reviews in December 2018 and May 2019 as well.

Our children have an annual folder with documentation of his/her progress throughout the year such as artwork samples and photographs. Developmental assessment of children’s progress and achievement is immediately prepared to plan their educational early year’s journey with us at MINE.

We conduct summative and formative assessments concerning each child’s multiple intelligences ongoing throughout the school academic year.

We also keep special benchmark projects and artworks for presentation of their year-end folder. The annual folder allows parents to see the developmental growth of their child at various stages of the academic year.

We also conduct parent seminars and workshops about preschool age developmental issues and guidelines to ensure that each child is supported as they grow, develop and learn.

MINE International Preschool has children from multi-cultural backgrounds and we wish to celebrate this diversity and incorporate this into their learning journey. This means that we are always honouring and celebrating each Nation’s uniqueness and special events.

Throughout the academic year, we research special observances of the United Nations, Western and Eastern cultural festivals and special events at MINE.

We have parties for National Cultural Days, Halloween, Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas tree festivities and seasonal song time, Japanese and Korean Children’s Day, Chinese New Year, Easter Egg Hunt, Ramadan Eid al-Fitr holiday.

We will periodically ask students to come in and model traditional costumes from their countries, discuss and enact customs and bring in relevant pictures and objects for a show and tell class discussion.

Our students experience with love and care in their hearts that our differences are as precious as our similarities.
